Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Rishikesh/Haridwar to Joshimath (2,050m)

Distance: 250 km | Duration: 8-10 hours
Route: Haridwar – Rishikesh – Devprayag – Rudraprayag – Karnaprayag – Joshimath
Highlights: Alaknanda & Bhagirathi rivers, confluences at Devprayag & Rudraprayag

Day 2: Joshimath to Dhak Village & Trek to Guling (2,900m)
Drive: 12 km (Joshimath to Dhak)
Trek Distance: 6 km | Time: 4-5 hours
Terrain: Moderate climb, forest trails, sight of Tuksem peak and other Dronagiri peaks

Day 3: Guling to Tali Top (3,350m)
Trek Distance: 5 km | Time: 4-5 hours
Highlights: Oak & rhododendron forests, first glimpses of Nanda Devi

Day 4: Tali to Kuari Pass (3,815m) & Back to Tali
Trek Distance: 10 km | Time: 7-8 hours

Scenic sunrise over Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba & Trishul
Walk on snow-covered trails (in winter)

Day 5: Tali to Auli (2,500m) & Drive to Joshimath
