Dubai loss? No worries! Henry, New Zealand prepare for semi-final against SA

New Zealand enters their Champions Trophy semifinal against South Africa with maintained morale even though they suffered their first tournament loss against India according to fast bowler Matt Henry. Sunday’s five-wicket defeat in Dubai ended with the Black Caps getting removed from the game for 205 runs thus completing the match between finalists.

Henry expressed that New Zealand’s team would not base their tactical approach against Pakistan on their defeat since he returned 5 wickets while the Black Caps limited India to 249-9. The cricketer made his comment because New Zealand had shown impressive results throughout this tournament according to him. The last time New Zealand visited Lahore they achieved victories by six wickets against South Africa in ODI cricket during the ODI tri-series just after defeating Pakistan at the same complex.

The spin quartet of India achieved nine wickets from ten attempts in Dubai while Varun Chakravarthy secured 5-42 wickets but the fast-bowling assault from New Zealand earned praise from Henry.
